Being Human

You can probably decipher at least part of our philosophy simply from our name: Human Investing. We are interested first and foremost in human beings—more than we are in numbers or financial strategies or asset allocation or risk management. Because those numbers and strategies and assets and risks are only important as they relate to the humans who have them.

We have a few basic planks that our firm was built on, and some people like to know what they are. So, for those of you who do, here you go.

As it relates to the humans who are also our clients:

We seek to share our knowledge with you to help solve the financial concerns that keep you up at night.

We are here to serve you—not the other way around. Your success is our success.

As it relates to the humans who work here:

We aspire to transcend traditional corporate America and become a company that is driven by our core values and beliefs.

We seek a greater purpose than just laboring from 8-5.

We believe in the need for a safe environment that helps employees seek a balanced life: excellence with our clients and excellence at home and in their communities.

As it relates to the humans in our community:

We believe that some of our time, talents and other personal assets should be used for those with needs greater than our own.

We believe that we can make a difference in terms of human suffering around the world.

We believe in contributing significantly to the human investing foundation which supports a variety of charitable organizations and causes.

As it relates to the humans who are reading this:

We believe we are done telling you about our planks now.
